The frenzy, to share what I keep learning, is gone. The motivation to blog has taken on some different shape. Not sure exactly what that means. I do know that it reflects yet another shift within me. These changes seem to keep speeding up. What is all this adding up to you might ask, as I do ask myself. Since I don’t have the answer, I decided to honor the urge to start writing this blog and see what wants to be written, if anything. Continue reading “#30 Standing in the Unknown”
The guidance of yesterday is as unexpected as the previous one; the one which led me to realize that I was not to conduct retreats as I have been for many years. With that direction being clear, I have been searching for clarity about the next cycle. In that process, I found myself floundering a bit and even touched a worry place about my security. Continue reading “#29 The Surfacing of the Refuge”
Finally, a concrete movement of enough significance to focus my energy in a clear direction. The concept of releasing, letting go of what is completed or outdated is one which has been with me for many years. It is basic in the Ageless Wisdom teachings of which I am a student. Here is an example of my most recent experience demonstrating the release of an old form. Continue reading “#28 Releasing Old Forms”
My friend Abbie and I just participated in a planetary meditation with James Twyman, the Peace Troubador. The general intention of this collective energy was to direct it toward peace in Syria and the region.
During this fifteen minute time of focus and visualization, an image of a huge wave of peace, the size of a tsunami, moving Continue reading “#27 Good Will The Path to Peace”
Freeing myself from the molasses like strands that hold me to outworn, outdated, habitual thinking and ways of being, is much on my mind these days. We of course realize that, knowing and doing are not the same. I value them pretty much equally. Roberto Assagioli’s (founder of Psychosynthesis} caution is relevant to remember here. In my arrogance the other day, I felt secure in what I can do during this time of challenge on our dear little planet. Stand steady, remember that we are all beings of Light, radiate that Light and build our bonds of Love. I threw into this mix sharing objective facts which could simply be one way of balancing the bigoted vitriol being poured all around. Continue reading “#25 Life in the Midst of Chaos”
It truly has been too long, waiting to reach a continuous inner calm before writing another blog. Once again, I’m reminded of the fact that, there are always ebbs and flows in my life. That achieving a desired state is momentary and then the cycle begins all over again, hopefully with some gained insight.

These past months have felt like a feverish devouring of information that was new and compelling and exciting and so stimulating. I felt as though I had fallen into some other dimensional vortex of energy which kept me enthralled. Along the way, I had passing moments of awareness that this inner frenzy of exploring new worlds and the urge to share all with any patient, kind soul willing to listen, was too much. But I kept on. Continue reading “#23 In Search of Inner Calm”
Due to the death of a family member, I have again been thinking of this experience every human being undergoes. It’s not only because I’m 80. This has been a more or less steady interest most of my life and stems from my always wondering where we come from and who we truly are. Continue reading “# 22 Some Thoughts About Dying”
The brain and the gut are subjects about which I have been learning and thinking for many years. However, it is only in recent months that I have even become aware of how they are directly connected to each other. It is nothing short of mind-blowing to me. Please bear with me as I simply share some key facts and hope you will pursue this further on your own. Continue reading “#21 The Brain-Gut Connection”
